BRYAN BELL (Director/Co-Choreographer)


Bryan Bell is thrilled to bring the joyous Altar Boyz to the stage for Evolution Theatre Company’s first production. Bryan has been a member of the Colorado theatre community on stage and off for over 20 years. Most recently, Bryan directed and choreographed critically acclaimed productions of Grease and Altar Boyz for the Union Colony Dinner Theatre in Greeley. Previous directing and choreography credits include: Titanic the Musical (nominated for 2 Denver Post Ovation Awards) and Man of La Mancha for Augustana Arts, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Nominated for 3 Denver Post Ovation Award including Best Director of a Musical) and Joseph...Dreamcoat (nominated for 4 Denver Post Ovation Awards) for Performance Now, The Fantasticks for Vail Valley Theatre Company, Joseph, Nunsense, Bye Bye Birdie for CRP, and as lead choreographer for FRMT’s Peter Pan, Anything Goes and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast as well as Nunsense for UCDT. Regional performance credits include; West Side Story, King and I – Country Dinner Playhouse, A Chorus Line – Boulder’s Dinner Theatre, Joseph…Dreamcoat, Gypsy and Anything Goes – Arvada Center, Kiss Me, Kate! for Boulder Broadway Company, 42nd Street and Joseph for Performance Now. Bryan will be playing the Role of Hysterium in UCDT’s production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum opening May 29. Upcoming projects include, Baby, The King and I, Plaid Tidings and The Secret Garden.

JESSICA HINDSLEY (Choreographer)


Jessica is delighted to be a part of Evolution Theatre Company's inaugural production. After receiving her BA in Theatre from the University of New Mexico, Jessica moved to Colorado in search of new performance opportunities. She has since performed all over Colorado, her most recent venture being the opening of the Black Box Burlesque at the Denver Civic. Some of her favorite roles include: Lois in Kiss Me, Kate, Amethyst in Leadville or Bust, Irma in Anything Goes, Rizzo in Grease and Lulu in Cabaret. Choreography credits include: The Fantasticks, Godspell, Joseph...Dreamcoat (asst.), Altar Boyz (asst.), University of New Mexico Musical Theatre Program and Magic Moments Inc.

BRITTA LAREE (Producer/Music Director)


Britta Laree is excited to be working some fly vocals with the equally-fly Altar Boyz! A recent graduate of Colorado State University's Masters of Music program where she was named the Outstanding Graduate Student in Music, Britta is an active stage and concert performer up and down the Front Range. A life-long musician, Britta has served in the capacity of music/vocal director in numerous CSU presentations, as well as Front Range Music Theatre's memorable production of Oklahoma. On the other side of the table, Britta has recently had the pleasure to perform such roles as Edith Piaf in Pure Piaf at the Denver Civic and Bas Bleu Theatre; Alice Beane in Titanic and Aldonza in Man of la Mancha with Augustana Arts at the Lakewood Cultural Center; Dolly Levi in Hello Dolly, Silly Girl 1 in Beauty and the Beast, and Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof with Performance Now at the Lakewood Cultural Center; Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense, Miss Thorne in Ruthless, and Woman 2 for 8 months of the record-breaking run of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change with the Nonesuch Theater; and, Lucy in Dracula and Sister Amnesia in Nunsense with Castle Rock Players. Fortunate and thankful for her opportunities on the boards, Britta is thrilled with the opportunity to be a part of the artistic team for Evolution Theatre Company's inaugural production, and hopes to serve in this and similar capacities more often in the future.

JIM MILLER (Costumer)


Jim received the Denver Post Ovation Award for "Best Costumes 2008" for Beauty and the Beast. He has costumed for Town Hall Arts Center, Country Dinner Playhouse, Performance Now, Theater on Broadway, Germinal Stage Denver, Castle Rock Players, Front Range Music Theater, Elitch Gardens, Alliance Stage, and now Evolution Theatre Company for which he also serves on the Board of Directors. Way to go ETC! Let this be the beginning of great times to follow!

VICTORIA RAYBURN (Stage Manager)


Victoria is thrilled to be a part of the first production of ETC and for the chance to work with the amazing production staff and cast. Victoria was last seen playing Cha-Cha at Union Colony Dinner Theater and hanging from the ceiling in Beauty and the Beast. She would like to thank Bryan for this incredible opportunity and sends hugs and kisses to her Colorado "family." Love you guys!
